We’re looking for a senior finance professional to lead our regional finance function and improve financial performance across our European markets.

You’ll work with regional and country management to identify performance drivers, risks and opportunities, and turn financial analysis into decisions that improve profitability. This includes making clear recommendations, challenging assumptions and following through on agreed actions.

You’ll also develop the finance team, processes and systems, using automation and AI to reduce manual work and improve analysis, planning and forecasting. We’re looking for someone with experience delivering these changes and a practical understanding of where technology adds value.

your responsibilities

  • Lead and develop the regional finance function, setting clear priorities and ensuring timely, high-quality delivery across markets
  • Manage financial planning, budgeting and forecasting, balancing growth, profitability and capital needs
  • Analyse business performance, identify the drivers behind results, and work with management to agree and implement improvement actions
  • Support and challenge decisions on pricing, funding, investments and capital allocation with clear financial analysis and recommendations
  • Oversee accounting, financial closing, consolidation and reporting, ensuring accuracy and reliability
  • Manage external audits, tax matters and regulatory reporting, ensuring compliance with applicable requirements
  • Maintain effective financial controls and governance across the region
  • Improve finance processes, systems and data quality, using automation and AI to reduce manual work and speed up analysis
  • Track the financial impact of agreed business actions and hold teams accountable for delivery

how you will make a difference

  • Going beyond explaining historical results to improve future performance
  • Identifying the economic drivers behind the numbers
  • Constructively challenging commercial, operational and investment decisions
  • Translating complex financial information into clear management choices
  • Taking responsibility for outcomes, not just finance processes and reports

what we're looking for

  • A university degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics
  • At least 10 years of relevant finance experience, including in leadership roles
  • A flexible, hands-on approach: comfortable moving between detail and the big picture, working across country and regional teams, and confidently advising and challenging senior stakeholders
  • Experience leading and developing both business finance and financial reporting functions
  • Strong analytical skills, advanced in Excel & BI tools (e.g. Power BI). Experience with ERP systems & their development is an advantage
  • Fluency (core concepts, application in daily Finance) in mainstream AI tools is a must
  • Strong experience in a regulated financial environment, such as banking, non-bank financial institutions, leasing or similar
  • Advanced expertise in financial engineering, including funding structures, capital and tax planning, portfolio economics, pricing, profitability, risk-return assessment and scenario modelling
  • Experience working with external auditors in a group or international reporting environment
  • A track record in a dynamic, fast-growing, performance-driven business
  • Fluent English and excellent communication skills

what we offer

  • Health insurance from Day 1
  • Performance-based bonus
  • Work your way – hybrid model with 3 days per week from the office and flexible working hours
  • Growth opportunities across regions, teams, and markets
  • Learning and development support in an international environment
  • Active social agenda with team events and company initiatives

ready for a way way up?
